Summertime Clothes by Animal Collective
Same goes for this song as the previous AnCo song that I posted a days ago. It takes some getting used to but after a while it’s amazing-ness comes to you.
Apparently Ross is unemployed and looking for work. How is this possible?
Explanation of how he did it here.
This is absolutely amazing, what an inspiration.
My Girls by Animal Collective
At first you might think this song is too weird or is not very good, but give it some time and I’m pretty sure you’ll start to love it. That’s what happened to me.
Pepsi and Mountain Dew Throwback are my new favorite things in the world. I’m seriously going to go into a depression when they take this away from me! But for now I’ll enjoy my high-fructose corn syrup free sodas!
I just got a new credit card, and of course I had to call the little toll-free number to activate the card so I could use it. Little did I know that this is just a huge scheme to get me to agree to sign up for a free trial for their “Credit Protection Plan”. After about ten minutes of listening to the obviously foreign man try to explain to me the details of this plan I tried to tell him that I wasn’t interested. Then he started using a tone with me that made me feel stupid, because he was acting like I was an idiot for not enrolling in the free trial. But after a few more minutes of barely comprehensible explanations I got the man to understand that I was not at all interested. Overall it was a pretty stressful experience, but at least now I know to automatically say no to anything offered to me over the phone!
Introducing your new Activity page (and “Tumblarity”)
Two big things:
- We’ve added a new link on your Dashboard labeled Tumblarity. This will take you to your new Activity page where you can see cumulative and trending stats about your activity on Tumblr.
For the past few months we’ve been using an internal metric called “Tumblarity” to sort and filter content on the Search and Popular Content pages. Tumblarity is derived from every blog’s activity and popularity across our network. We’re getting ready to start using it to organize the boss new Tumblr directory (which should be done next week!).
For the first time, you can view your Tumblarity on the Dashboard and Activity page.
Please ignore the fact that I’m less popular than fuckyeahparamore.
This seriously makes me love Tumblr even more. Definitely the best blogging platform in the world!
Peach, Plum, Pear by Joanna Newsom
It’s hard to believe that this song is played on a harp because it sounds nothing like what you’d normally hear when you think of a harp. Kudos to Joanna Newsom for creating some of the most creative music I’ve heard in my life.
I finally forced myself to actually code the redesign to WouldYouRathr.com that’s been sitting on the desktop of my computer for a few months now. Overall I’m pretty happy with the new site, but I’m not too sure about the color choice right now. We’ll see how much I like it in a couple months. Don’t forget to comment on some of the posts!
This weekend I attended the C-CATS program in Pickens, SC. C-CATS stands for “Clemson’s Challenge for Academically Talented Students”. It was basically a little camp to help you get ready for what you need to do to get into a competitive school like Clemson. I ended up having a lot of fun with the people I met there, and I learned a lot. It really got me excited about going to Clemson after high-school and now I can’t wait!
Joanna Newsom - Sprout And The Bean
This is the single most reason the movie “The Strangers” was so scary.
