Come Around by M.I.A.
I don’t know how she does it but M.I.A. creates some of the most addictive music I’ve ever heard. This song is no exception. It’s not very popular but it definitely should be. I wish that she would have made a video for it, or released it as a single.
Sorry that I haven’t been posting anything lately, I just can’t ever think of anything to say. I’ll try to start posting more of the interesting stuff that I find on the hours I spend online. I hate to disappoint my hundreds of loyal readers!
We Are the People by Empire of the Sun
This musical wonder currently featured on a commercial for the new Vizio TVs and at first I figured it was a song off MGMT’s upcoming album, but I was wrong. I did a quick search and found out it was by a band with a strikingly similar sound to that of MGMT’s. If you have ever like any of their songs give this one a listen, you won’t be disappointed!
This may sound pretentious and stuck up, but I have a constant feeling that I’m surrounded by ignorant people. I’m talking about the people who insist on pretending they know about something when they don’t. Are they consciously making the decision to talk out of their ass or do they genuinely think that what they are saying is the truth? I think about this kind of thing a lot.
Speechless by Lady Gaga
If you’re looking for truly unique, well written, and all-around high quality pop music, look no further than Lady Gaga. People think of her as the crazy “hermaphrodite” pop singer but they don’t realize how unbelievably talented she is. It doesn’t hurt that she’s also the most entertaining live performer I’ve ever seen.
P.S. She’s not a hermaphrodite.
Gold Guns Girls by Metric
This song was used in the opening scene of this week’s Grey’s Anatomy episode and I loved it. This season is getting better and better as it goes on by the way. I’m not really sure if I like where they are going with Izzie’s character but we’ll see.
Let’s count the number of times those “Change Facebook Back!” groups have worked… zero. Well, it looks like that debate is over.
Bulletproof by La Roux
Like always, the first time I heard this song I didn’t like it. But upon listening to it again I realized how genius it is.
I absolutely cannot figure out Microsoft’s email services anymore. Is it Hotmail? Windows Live? Bing? It’s so confusing. If you type in hotmail.com it redirects you to mail.live.com, but if you go to live.com it redirects you to bing.com. Then if you sign in on bing.com you have to click Hotmail to get to get redirected to mail.live.com!
Absolute insanity, thank God I use Google!
